Take a moonlit hike as we play the recorded calls of local owls and entice them to answer us. Listen for the deep hoot of the Great Horned Owl and the horse-like whinny of the Eastern Screech Owl. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Vittoria Community Centre. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. and the program begins at 7:30 p.m.
Various field outings are also planned throughout the year, and include trips to local conservation areas, bird banding, winter tree identification and much more. Field outings are free of charge.
