Event: “Threats Facing Bats in Ontario”–Speaker Event via Zoom

Kaleigh Norquay is the Lab Manager for the Willis Bat Lab at the University of Winnipeg. They regularly do research in Ontario and are a part of the Neighbourhood Bat Watch, a group of researchers across Canada that monitor bat populations.

This event will be held via Zoom. A link will be sent to NFN members in advance.

 

 

Meetings

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Simcoe Recreation Centre, Norfolk Room. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. and the program begins at 7:30 p.m.

Field Events

Various field outings are also planned throughout the year, and include trips to local conservation areas, bird banding, winter tree identification and much more. Field outings are free of charge.
