Event: Geology of Ontario (Speaker Event)

John Johnston, MSc, PhD, an Assistant Professor at the University of Waterloo in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, will talk about how we became the province that we are geologically. Members and non-members are welcome to attend.

Event takes place at Simcoe Seniors Centre, 89 Pond St., Simcoe. Doors open at 7:15 p.m., and the program begins at 7:30 p.m. Parking and entrance are at the rear of the building.

Note: On occasion, circumstances beyond our control may require cancellation of a planned event. All event cancellations will be posted on the NFN web site.

 

Meetings

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, at the Simcoe Seniors Centre, Pond Street, in Simcoe. Doors open at 7:15 p.m., and the program begins at 7:30 p.m.

Field Events

Various field outings are also planned throughout the year, and include trips to local conservation areas, bird banding, winter tree identification and much more. Field outings are free of charge.
