Join us on an Autumn “weird, wonderful and worth it” hike to look for and identify mushrooms and other fungi of all shapes and sizes. Bring a camera as you are not allowed to harvest mushrooms.
Our leader is Inga Hinnerichsen, local fungi expert and NFN member.
Location: Meet at parking lot at south end of Backus Woods, 1329 Walsingham Concession 3 (west of Walsingham East Quarter Line and east of Hwy. 59).

Meetings
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Simcoe Recreation Centre, Norfolk Room. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. and the program begins at 7:30 p.m.
Field Events
Various field outings are also planned throughout the year, and include trips to local conservation areas, bird banding, winter tree identification and much more. Field outings are free of charge.
