Event: Forest Birds at Risk (Speaker Event)

Ian Fife, Bird Studies Canada’s Forest Birds at Risk Coordinator, will talk about his studies regarding recent declines in the numbers of forest birds like the Acadian Flycatcher, Louisiana Waterthrush, Prothonotary Warbler, and Cerulean Warbler.

Where: Simcoe Seniors Centre, 89 Pond St., Simcoe

Time: Doors open at 7:15 p.m., and the program begins at 7:30 p.m.

Parking and entrance are at the rear of the building.

Members and non-members are welcome to attend

Meetings

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Simcoe Recreation Centre, Norfolk Room. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. and the program begins at 7:30 p.m.

Field Events

Various field outings are also planned throughout the year, and include trips to local conservation areas, bird banding, winter tree identification and much more. Field outings are free of charge.
